Great product, but no promo

By · Comments (12)

If you have been dead the last few weeks, then you may not have heard about the new product from Stomper called F5. They did a launch a few weeks ago with great prelaunch videos and great proof that their product works.

Well, their product worked, but seems that their launch didn’t work very well as they quickly took it off the market and relaunched it again yesterday with a new salesletter and a new installment plan.

With the power of Stomper behind any product and all of their ’guru’ friends to help push it, the original salesletter must have converted extremely badly in order for them to have to pull it.

At $2.5k a pop, you don’t have to sell many in order to arrive in profit even after paying Lemberg and the affiliates their cut. But obviously something went wrong (very) – although I may be wrong and have misjudged the whole thing…no insider info here.

There is actually something really sad about the whole thing though… it’s probably one of the best products that I have ever seen.

I have had access to the whole product as well as being sent the first two parts (so far) in the mail and it is beautiful in every way.

- The box is beautiful (think Formula One beautiful)
- The material is presented beautifully

and (perhaps) most important of all the content itself is top notch. I haven’t been through the whole course yet, but have no doubt that it will help me a huge amount in my business and the small changes that I have made so far have already made me money.

I’ve spoke before about how few products produce results that last and this is definitely one of them that will see great results and success.

So, why am I not promoting and why haven’t I previously?

In my opinion, this product is not for everyone. In fact according to a previous survey that I did for my list, it is not suitable for over 70% of my list.

If you are making over $3,000 a month online and have your own product then you should literally sell anything that you have in order to purchase this product. You will never regret it and will probably increase your profit by many times within the next few months. Don’t think that I have ever said this before, but it is worth putting it on the credit card or borrowing the money in this particular case because unless there is some kind of world disaster, you will get the money back extremely quickly.

However, if you are nowhere near the $3k mark or you don’t have your own product then you should hang on to your money for now as the benefit contained within it simply isn’t worth it for you, the price that they are asking.

So, they have done 2 very interesting things in their relaunch:

- added an extra module showing you how to create your own product
- introduced a payment scheme where you can get started for less than $200

Will this turn around sales for them, and make it a huge hit which we have come to know and love from Stomper?

Probably, but I still stand by my advice above.

As I said previously, this is not a product which I am actively promoting, but if you do want to purchase or see the salesletter then leave a comment below and I will get you my link. No official bonuses, but will send you some money or some love or something like that. In fact, let me know what would make you buy through my link in your comment and I’ll see what I can do :)

Keeping it real in an unreal world,

Ben Shaffer

  1. WOW…I thought I was the lone ranger in not promoting F5.

Ben I’m glad to know that as a JV for stomper that I’m not promoting it myself. It is a great product, but like you said it’s just not right for everybody.

When the box landed on my front door I though this was some kind of new X box package.

    Thanks

      Hi Charles,

Thanks for stopping by. Hadn’t hear from you for a while. I though F1, but perhaps you are more correct in Xbox styling. Either way, very lovely look to it.

      Ben

PS. If anyone reading this wants to know more about SEO, then Charles is a great guy to know.

    Hi Ben,

I just recently subscribed to your blog and think it’s great.

I am nowhere near the $3000/per month mark as I am a complete newbie. However, I would like to see their sales letter. If I buy through your link, I would appreciate any freebies you have to offer because I know you are the “real deal.”

    Keep up the good work.

    Thanks.

    Hi Ben,

I appreciate your honesty in a sense that you`re not promoting this F5 because simply your list cannot afford it at this point. The thing I wanted to ask you, I found your few sentences a little, hm, how do I put this, not strange, but a little peculiar, the way you said

“- The box is beautiful (think Formula One beautiful)
    - The material is presented beautifully
and (perhaps) most important of all the content itself is
    top notch. “

Now it seems to me you didn`t put that “perhaps” in there by accident :-)
Did you have something on your mind? Do you consider some other things to be of more significance than the actual content in this sort of product? I`m sorry if I misunderstood this part of your post, I just thought this might be an interesting question. Or maybe I can put it this way, what do you consider to be of most importance in a product launch like this?

    Thanks

    Zelimir Graf

The perhaps was there tongue in cheek. My point was that it was presented beautifully, but most importantly of all, the content is also great.

People often do buy things because of the packaging or how they are positioned, myself included, but that should not be the be all and end all. Was actually thinking the other day how mad it is that they sell bottled water here where the only difference from tap water is that it has been through a filter which is similar to what we have at home. But I am prepared to pay more because of the packaging and also out of convenience and necessity.

      Ben

      • Zelimir Graf says:

Sorry if this is little off topic, but how do you know that the water is just passed through a filter? Bottled water in Croatia usually, actually I should say mostly, comes from the pure river sources, that are untouched and pure.

Thank for clarifying the packaging and content part by the way.

    Why aren`t comments allowed?

  5. Yesterday was the first time I saw F5 (promoted by John Reese). I must have been dead ;-) .

I just couldn’t get over how big it was and how many videos there were.

Now that I have become a student again personally I just don’t have time, to go through all that information and then apply it into my business in a useful form. I can imagine a lot of people who are working full time are exactly the same.

I guess this is the way courses are going…. throw in as much as you can, and make it as big as you can to charge as much as you can.

Give me useful but please make it in a practical form that I can digest.

    Sincerely,

I agree with everything you say. I realised a long time ago these guys are way up in the stratosphere, and not for me. But if they do a pdf I do grab it and read it. The principles are always worth reading.

It hadn’t occurred to me that it had been a flop though. Perhaps too many people thought it was only for the multi zillion businesses.

I also have this feeling about Yanik Silver. I went to the UK Underground two or three years ago. It was wonderful, very inspiring and I would love to go again. But, in all truth, not for the person who is earning zero or just a bit above.

Thanks for the honesty Ben. It is good that some of you big guys do realise that even us at the bottom of the food chain have a nose for good and bad.

  7. Paul says:

The Stompernet guys do a great presentation job but perhaps are getting just a bit too slick. Shame if it wasn’t a success for them but times they are achanging as they say. $2.5K in a recession – if not a depression – get real. I am just now unsubscribing every “guru” that just sends me emails pushing promotions. Stompernet do give some useful free information but most do not.
