As my launch finishes in just a few
hours, I wanted to give you some
reflection on how it went and
what now’?
1. This launch broke my ‘Clickbank Curse’
for internet marketing products.
Seems amazing to say as I have been
in the Internet Marketing niche for
so long now and had many extremely
successful products.
However, this was the first one that
has been successful that I have
launched on Clickbank.
I am yet to reflect on exactly why,
but feel it has something to do with
the fact that I did make a large effort
to reach out of my usual network and
recruit far more affiliates.
Clickbank does seem to have a viral
effect in that the more people who
are promoting your product, the more
who then promote it…
I have realized that one of the greatest
thing about Clickbank is not the number
of affiliates, but more importantly how
easy someone can become an affiliate for
you by just getting the hoplink from the
marketplace.
2. I have invested a huge amount of money
in this launch (buying a new car kind of
money).
Part of the reason I did this is because
I didn’t just want to have a product launch
per se, but wanted to build a business
that I can carry on running and optimising
for many years to come.
My main objective now is to keep the present
members happy.
Already, I have my programmers working on
new functions and features which will blow
your mind.
In addition, I have just added another huge
batch of spun articles to add to the site.
3. One of the downsides with recurring income
sites (or membership sites) is that you
continuously need to bring in new members.
If you don’t, then attrition means that your
numbers drop monthly. With the investment
which I am making month by month, it means
that a big focus is finding ways to drive
new traffic and recruit new members.
I have large Adwords and Facebook campaigns
which are ready to roll out at the beginning
of next week.
Facebook is a large part of my paid traffic
strategy in my business generally now in
order to drive customers and build my list.
Will tell you more about that in a future
emaiil…
4. There were many things that I thought may
have gone wrong with this launch. Mostly
technical. But also how it would be received
and whether it would sell well.
Ironically, none of my greatest fears actually
came to fruition.
If I were to say one thing that did go ‘wrong’
was my mistake in pushing the article robot
side more than the actual spun article side.
Feedback from the helpdesk definitely proved
that customers were more interested in the
articles.
Oh…and the other thing which nearly killed
the whole launch was that up until a few hours
before I launched, there was an error with
permissions which had been caused by an
(ex) programmer. argh! Luckily, it was cured
and server ran beautifully throughout!

I always think that is useful to reflect on
what goes right and what goes wrong when you
launch a product and what you can learn for
the next time.
I also find it very useful to hear how things
worked out for other people so thought that
you would also to hear from me.
Luckily things worked out extremely well this
time, but very interested to hear from you
what has gone right and what has gone wrong
when you have done something online. Please
do comment below.
Keeping it real in an unreal world,
